I don't remember how I stumbled onto the first one I ever read, but I did awhile back and submitted my post about getting Ellie a handicap placard. Since then I have been in two more, without submitting, which is such a compliment. Tokah's carnival being one of them. Thanks Tokah! I want to understand these issues so I can help Ellie now and in the future and so I can amend my appalling ignorance of disability issues.

Kathryn, I'm so confused because your sidebar says that Ellie was born Nov 2005 but you celebrated her 4th Birthday last Nov. Are we still in the year 2007?
Hi Mel - thanks for catching that. It was a sleep deprived typo. Ellie was most definitely born on November 9, 2002. And yes, we are in 2007, at least some of us.
okay, thanks for clearing that up:) Oh, and I totally understand the "sleep deprived" condition;)
