True Spring

Too much in my brain right now to even begin to blog. So just some pics of Ellie who as a seven year old has the most thoughtful expression sometimes like in the first picture. She sort of sets her mouth just so and looks very serious. I wonder what she is thinking while at the same time feel the sanctity of her inner processing, so I don't wonder too hard and am ever so thankful that she is filled with so many thoughts. A pic of her and dada and the iPhone. Lastly a picture of the painting that will be done before I stumble across another birthday.

Ellie has been well. We are experiencing true Spring for the first time since we moved here. I am grateful for the transition.

Thank you VERY MUCH to Penny Richards for your testimonial about the strength of stomach acid to dissolve baby teeth, sharp bits first, before they ever reach the small intestine. I am sleeping much better now. Thank you so much!

Ohhh baby teeth!! She looks like such a big girl! And I love her carseat cover. We have a Britax Traveller but it is boy blue and I hate it. LOL!

This was a fine post! (More than a beginning, I think.) The photos with your reflections match perfectly with your beautiful unfinished art.

Thanks Billie - I think Ellie would like to meet Holland and Eden some day! ;-) They are little beauties as well!

Yep - it's a great cover - wish we had two like it -the other one we have is black and not very interesting.

Thank you "TheRextas"!

Ha! Well you're welcome. Yeah for stomach acid doing its job!

umm...er...those 2 pictures of Ellie look nothing like the little girl I used to know! Looks like her old soul is poking through a wee bit! It's not bad in away, just more mature! Ah, the transition from little girl cute to beautiful.

Kristin,

I love it that you see the old soul in her. You won't believe how many people have commented that because of her disability that she must be a young soul - and I HATE that - it's such an ism. She gives me these soulful looks sometimes and I think, what an old soul - and you are the only other person to see that too!! It's kinda validating on this end - thanks for that.

She is such a little girl now. Sigh - in most ways it is going by so / too fast.
